We are excited to welcome leading scholars to participate in this panel discussion on the texts that are sacred to Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. 

Rabbi Peter S. Knobel served as Interim Rabbi at Temple Judea in 2013-2014. Rabbi Knobel served as the spiritual leader of Beth Emet the Free Synagogue in Evanston, IL beginning in 1980 and is still an active teacher and worshiper in that community.

Dr. Steven J. Kraftchick is the Chair of New Testament Course of Study in Emory’s Graduate Division of Religion. As the Presidential Fellow at the Fox Center for Humanistic Inquiry, he is currently working on a project that explores the intersection of theology and technology. 

Dr. Abdul Hamid Samra is the Imam and Director of Religious Services at Islamic Center of Greater Miami in Miami Gardens, Florida. He serves as a Muslim Chaplain at University of Miami and is also an Adjunct Professor Dr. Samra regularly participates in multi-faith forums to raise awareness about Islam and to build bridges among the clergies and social organizations in the community.
