MAZEL IN MIAMI has something for everyone! Join us for a community-wide Shabbat on Friday, April 25 and an interactive Minyan and Torah Study on Saturday, April 26 featuring acclaimed author and lecturer Rabbi Lawrence Hoffman. That evening, enjoy a Miami-themed celebration with our very own Pulitzer Prize-winning author and humorist Dave Barry as our Master of Ceremonies. The rejoicing continues Sunday, May 4th, with “Drive Thru Simcha Sunday”, a heartfelt mitzvah project benefiting JCS Kosher Food Bank and Miami Diaper Bank.

Gather with us at Temple Judea for a special community-wide Shabbat. Rejoice in prayer and song as we kick-off a weekend celebrating Rabbi Judith Siegal and Rabbi Jonathan Fisch ontheir milestone anniversaries.
We are pleased to welcome the inspirational Rabbi Lawrence A. Hoffman, professor emeritus at the Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion, as our Scholar-in-Residence leading us in thoughtful reflection.
Immediately following our Shabbat Service, Temple Judea will host a festive dinner reception catered by Michael Meltzer.

Join us at Temple Judea for an interactive Minyan & Torah Study with Rabbi Lawrence A. Hoffman, including a lite lunch. Rabbi Hoffman, a mentor to Rabbi Siegal is professor emeritus at Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion, where he has shaped generations of rabbis and cantors. Author of 50 books, he is internationally known for his lectures and his spiritual approach to synagogue consultation. 

In 1994, he co-founded Synagogue 2000, a project envisioning synagogues as moral and spiritual centers for the 21st century. His popular Open Letters to My Students can be read on his blog, Life and a Little Liturgy.
