Learn to Play for Beginners
Introductory Mah Jongg Course: Series of six 2-hour classes at Temple Judea taught by a seasoned instructor, designed to maximize the learning curve and get you on your way to independent play!
Our Introductory Mah Jongg Course is scheduled for Sundays 10AM-12PM and Mondays 6:30PM-8:30PM: February 25, February 26, March 3, March 4 and March 10, March 11.
Temple Judea members can invite a friend to sign-up! For security purposes, non-temple members should be referred by a temple member. For more information or questions contact Barbara Osborn.
Mah Jongg Mondays
Join fellow Mah Jongg lovers for friendly game play at Temple Judea on Mondays from 12:30PM – 3:30PM or join us in the evening from 6:30-8:30PM. This is for advanced, intermediate, and independent beginner players. Note that games will be played by National Mah Jongg League rules.
Registration For safety and security, RSVP is required to reserve your spot. Temple Judea members may invite a friend to join. Please email Nancy Berry to confirm your attendance.
Fees
Suggested tzedakah donation to WTJ of $36 per year.

Mah Jongg Cards
2024 Mah Jongg cards can now be ordered for delivery in April. We highly recommend all course registrants purchase a 2024 card so that you can continue to play once the new cards are published. Purchase your card directly from the National Mah Jongg League by clicking here.

WTJ is accepting donations of Mah Jongg tiles/racks sets and 2023 cards. If you have a set or 2023 card collecting dust in your closet, we are happy to put it to good use. Please contact Nancy Berry.
