1 Hot Topics: Teens will have the opportunity to discuss the most hot button issues of the year through a Jewish lens. Should medical marijuana be legal? Is football safe? What is the deal with Israel? Teens will meet with Rabbi Siegal, Rabbi Fisch, Beth Young, and Molly Levy throughout the year to have open conversations about the issues that are flooding the media and discuss what our traditions says about them, as well as the opinions of our teens.

2 Better Together: Temple Judea partners with The Palace in Coral Gables to bring together our teens and seniors for learning and conversation. Several times during the year, we will meet at a restaurant in Coral Gables and then walk to The Palace together to plan and run the program. Teens will learn about culture, history, and compassion from the participating seniors. We are thrilled about this partnership and are looking forward to all of the great relationships that will develop over the year.

3 JTY: JTY, our senior youth group, also meets on Monday nights and is open to all 8th-12th graders. JTY is a youth led, adult advised organization with a student board who plans all of the events over the year. One or two Monday nights a month, JTY will have a fun, exciting program for all of our participants after Judea High. There will also be trips, conventions, and many programming opportunities throughout the year for JTY members. You can expect everything from game night to kayaking trips to social action, so there is something for everyone.
