Yohandra Perez-Rosales, Club Judea Director
Yohandra is the dedicated Director of Club Judea’s Afterschool and Summer Camp programs, bringing warmth, creativity, and over 20 years of experience in Jewish early childhood education to her role. Her professional journey has been deeply rooted at the Margaux Early Childhood School at Temple Judea, where she has spent more than two decades nurturing, guiding, and inspiring young learners.
Born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in New Jersey, Yohandra eventually made her way to Miami, where she found both her personal and professional home. She lives with her husband and their three children, all of whom are proud alumni of the Margaux School, making her connection to the Temple Judea community both profound and personal.
Yohandra is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for children that blend Jewish values, creativity, and joy. Whether she’s planning enriching afterschool experiences or highenergy summer camp adventures, her focus is always on fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where every child feels seen and celebrated.
Her long-standing commitment to early childhood education, combined with her deep ties to the community, make her an integral part of the Temple Judea family.
Rebecca Rubin, Assistant Director
Rebecca, better known as Ms. Becca, is the assistant director of Club Judea afterschool program. She grew up in Miami, FL with her parents and older brother. Growing up in a Jewish household, she celebrated Shabbat every Friday along with celebrating all the Jewish holidays with her family. Rebecca loves working at a Jewish institution because she feels connected to her roots. She graduated from The University of Central Florida in 2015 with a degree in Psychology. It’s her first year out of the classroom and into an assistant director role after being a Margaux School assistant teacher for the past 6 years. She’s excited to start this new journey with Club Judea and can’t wait to start the school year! Her favorite part about working with children is the connection she makes with the children and their families.
Seth Lewis Levin, Director of Education
Seth Lewis Levin is the Director of Education at Temple Judea in Coral Gables, FL. He supports his staff in fostering curiosity and engagement among Jewish learners of all ages. Seth brings a wealth of experience in teaching and educational leadership from various institutions across the country, including congregations, camps, public and charter schools. Previously, he served as the Director of School Leadership at Bezos Academy, a network of tuition-free preschools in underserved communities. Seth began his career as a community organizer before becoming a social studies teacher in New York City's Department of Education. Seth holds multiple degrees, including a Masters in Teaching Social Studies from New York University, a Masters in Public Administration in School Leadership from Baruch College, a Masters in Library and Information Science from Long Island University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History and French Studies from Wesleyan University. He is a certified educator in several states and has taught and led educators at various levels. Outside of his professional life, Seth has served on the boards of Congregational and Community organizations, Parent Teacher Association Executive Committees and coached his children’s baseball and soccer teams. He is an unapologetic “book worm,” collector of Jewish texts, photographs and recipes and has also recently become a committed student of Mussar. He lives with his wife Kami, their children Sydney, Elijah and Ava, their dog Abigail Adams and cat Fifi on Key Biscayne.
