Learning, Play, and Jewish Joy—All After School at Club Judea

Club Judea After School offers a dynamic, camp-style experience where Jewish learning comes alive every day. With enriching activities like musical theatre, sports, STEM, art, and Jewish cooking, children explore new interests while building confidence, creativity, and community. Inspired by Jewish camp traditions and set on our beautiful campus, each day includes meaningful learning, Z’man Kehillah (community time), and plenty of joyful moments that help our Littles, Middles, and Bigs grow together.

Littles: Our tiniest explorers! This group includes Playgroup and 2-year-olds who are just beginning their journey with us, learning through discovery, songs, stories, and lots of joyful play.

Middles: Our curious and energetic 3-year-olds and Pre-K children who are gaining confidence, independence, and building friendships as they grow.

Bigs: The leaders of our community Kindergarten through 5th graders who model kindness, take on new challenges, and help shape the spirit of Club Judea.

Transportation

The Club Judea van will collect your children from designated schools and transport them to Temple Judea. Our schedule includes one pick-up for Kindergarten and 1st grade at 1:50 pm, and another for 2nd through 5th grade at 3:05 pm.

Club Judea Afterschool picks up children from the following schools:
Pinecrest Elementary, West Lab Elementary, Temple Beth Am, Sunset Elementary, and McGlannan. Transportation availability from each school is based on enrollment and will be confirmed once minimum interest is met.

If your child attends a school not on our pick-up list, we're happy to assist in organizing carpools to ensure their safe arrival.

Flow of the Day

Club Judea meets every day of the week following the Miami-Dade public school calendar. Children can be enrolled for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week.

Every day, children are either dropped off or picked up and taken to Club Judea following their school day. Upon arrival, they enjoy a snack and engage in free-play activities, allowing them to rejuvenate after a day of academic pursuits.

Under the guidance of our skilled educators, children receive support to complete their homework assignments.

The remainder of their time is devoted to play and learning within a camp-style Jewish educational setting. Throughout the day, children are exposed to Hebrew vocabulary, explore Jewish values and traditions, and participate in creative projects designed to commemorate their discoveries.

While every day at Club Judea brings new adventures, all days include the following elements:

  • Snack (Nishnushim): The afternoon begins with a nutritious snack and time to connect with friends.
  • Outdoor Play (Havsaka): Children enjoy fresh air and movement through outdoor games and free play.
  • Homework Help (Z’man Atzma’ee): Educators offer support with homework in a quiet, focused environment.
  • Clubhouse Meeting (Z’man Kehillah): Everyone comes together to share, reflect, and build community through group activities.
  • Electives (Peulot): Participants explore their interests through engaging activities such as art, sports, theater, and more.
