Gaby Enser Tangir, Religious School Director
Gaby Enser Tangir is the Religious School Directo at Temple Judea. She’s been the B’nai Mitzvah Director, at Temple Judea for over 20 years, creating a space for every student and family to foster their Jewish identity. She’s developed a B’nai Mitzvah Club program for 6th and 7th graders (BMC), providing these students a sense of community and leadership. Our BMC focuses on small groups learning, one-on-one tutoring, intentional teaching and comprehensive support. After the success of this one of a kind experience, Gaby developed BMC Jr for 4th and 5th graders to get our pre-teens ready for what’s to come and to have more opportunities for them to read and comprehend Hebrew with a bi-weekly exposure to our ancient language. Working closely with the Director of Education, Gaby develops and implements engaging programming for all children and teens.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Gaby studied Hazanut (Cantorial Education) and Social Communication, specializing in publicity and education. Since immigrating to Miami with her husband Ariel in 2002, Gaby has been an integral part of the Temple Judea community.
Her career at Temple Judea began as a Cantorial Associate, shifting to B’nai Mitzvah Mentor, and soon after Religious School Director. She currently brings her excellence in Jewish education throughout our congregation, making her the glue to all generations. Gaby has been and continues to be an inspiration in our community.
