Year-End Giving
The Temple Campus will close at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 24, and will remain closed on Thursday, December 25 and Friday, December 26.
We will reopen on Monday, December 29 to assist with processing year-end donations (via check) through December 31 at 1:00 PM.

As we approach year-end, we invite you to reflect on the many ways your generosity strengthens Temple Judea; today and for generations to come. This season offers a unique opportunity to support the values, programs, and spaces that shape Jewish life in our community, while also taking advantage of smart financial and tax-efficient giving strategies.
Whether you wish to make a meaningful gift now or plan for the future, there are numerous pathways to amplify your impact and align your philanthropy with the areas closest to your heart.
💙 What has happened over the past week is nothing short of extraordinary!
In less than seven days, our community has come together to raise approximately $760,000 toward the Frank Family $1 Million Leadership Challenge!!!
Because of this incredible momentum, we are now just $300,000 away from fully unlocking the match and reaching a truly historic milestone for Temple Judea.
Consider the possibilities…
If we achieve this final $300,000 by December 31…
between the transformative Frank Family Challenge and its overwhelming response…coupled with the 100 Gifts in 100 Days mini campaign…
our Temple Judea community will have raised an astonishing $2.8 million in new and increased gifts since just Erev Rosh Hashanah on September 22!
100 Days of ...
Heartfelt Philanthropy
Leadership in action
Our community reaching for the stars — together!
Let's keep this incredible momentum going for our future generations!! LETS MEET THE MATCH!
Every gift is now DOUBLED!!! Join us and continue to make an impact - THANK YOU!!
💙 Smart, Strategic Ways to Give Before December 31
Year-end is an ideal time to review your charitable giving—especially ahead of the OBBBA tax changes taking effect on January 1, 2026. Consider these three tax-smart ways to give today while maximizing your charitable goals:
1. Gift Appreciated Assets (Stocks)
• Receive an immediate income tax deduction based on the full fair market value.
• Avoid capital gains tax on appreciated securities held more than one year.
2. Create or Add to a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)
• Think of a DAF as a charitable “checking account” for you and your family.
• Receive a tax deduction today and avoid capital gains on donated assets.
3. Utilize an IRA Charitable Rollover
• If you or your spouse are 70½ or older, donate up to $108,000 (indexed) directly from your IRA to a qualified charity tax-free.
• This counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution and is not included in taxable income, even if you don’t itemize.
💙 Planned Giving & Legacy Opportunities
Thoughtful financial planning can deepen your impact far into the future:
Make a Gift of Life Insurance
New or existing policies may be donated, and tax-deductible gifts can cover premium payments. The eventual benefit to charity often represents a powerful return on philanthropic investment.
Name Temple Judea as a Beneficiary
A beneficiary designation is one of the easiest and most effective ways to make an estate gift. You can specify the percentage of assets you’d like to leave to Temple Judea in:
• Retirement plans
• Life insurance policies
• Investment and financial accounts
• Wills and trusts
Such legacy commitments ensure that your values carry forward for future generations.
💙 Opportunities to Support What Matters Most
Your generosity helps shape every corner of Temple Judea. You may choose to:
• Participate in the LEV – From the Heart Capital & Endowment Campaign
• Dedicate an engraved brick or simcha leaf in honor or memory of a loved one
• Support the Temple Judea fund that speaks to your heart
• Join the L’Chaim Legacy Society with a planned gift
• Contribute to Margaux Early Childhood School Funds
• Support our Religious School Funds
Every gift of any size builds belonging.

• Give online via credit card
• Pay by ACH
• Make a wire transfer
• Recommend a gift from your Donor-Advised Fund
