ADULT EDUCATION – plans and implements programs to further our adult congregant’s knowledge of Judaic-related issues and subject.

COLLEGE COMMITTEE – creates an ongoing bond with our college students via periodic mailings and holiday packages.

CHESED CARING COMMUNITY – under the guidance of the rabbis, visits Temple members or relatives who are ailing; assists members in coping with illness in the family, as well as the problems associated with elderly parents.

EDUCATION – works with the Director of Education to implement curriculum, policies and standards to maximize teacher effectiveness and parent-teacher relationships in the religious school.

MEL HARRISON MEMORIAL LIBRARY – assists the Temple Librarian in the selection and organizing of books.

MEMBERSHIP – implements programs designed to attract new members and integrate them into the Temple family.

MEMBERSHIP ENRICHMENT – promotes membership retention by providing both educational and social programs.

PRESCHOOL– works with the Preschool Director to operate the preschool, which includes setting the budget and addressing policy.

SOCIAL ACTION TEAM – develops awareness of relevant moral, social and political issues.

SOUP KITCHEN – shops, prepares and serves meals to the needy from October to the middle of April.

WORSHIP COMMITTEE – works with Temple clergy to determine and create unique rituals and practices consistent with liberal Reform Judaism and not otherwise reserved or dictated by special tradition.

YOUTH COMMITTEE – works with Youth Advisor to establish and implement youth programs and events; foster and supervise activities among the Temple’s youth groups.

OFFICE VOLUNTEER – works in the Temple office, assisting the staff in the daily operation of Temple Judea.

ARCHIVES – maintains the history of Temple Judea.

BY-LAWS - aids Temple President in keeping the By-Laws current.

HOUSE – maintains the physical plant of Temple Judea.

SCHOLAR-IN-RESIDENCE – helps plan & execute the yearly Scholar-In-Residence Weekend.
